The Park & A Picnic!

Yesterday the kids and I went to the park!! It was a nice COOL day with some crazy wind at times. Very refreshing from the 90-100 degree weather we have been having. The kids had a wonderful time. It is one of Connor’s favorite places to go. There were several other little boys there that he immediately started playing and running around with! Kendall decided that she was going to be little miss independent at the park. She wanted to follow her “Bubba” around and that is exactly what she did. She went up & down every step with my help of course. She wanted to slide by HERSELF! (GASP!) That did not happen. I had to go down with her and she thought that was very fun! She even crawled up on the train and step off before I could get to her. She rolled onto the ground but didn’t cry. I got her up and tried to brush the mulch off of her and she got mad and yelled at me because she wanted to PLAY!!! We had taken our lunch there to have a picnic but it was just too windy. So at the request of Connor we came home and had a picnic in the front yard. It was the best picnic ever!!!
Swinging is so much fun!

Kendall being brave & Connor with a big smile!

Thinking real hard about walking over the bridge to Connor…

She did it!!! She walked across the bridge all by herself!!

Driving the boat!

Connor sliding & climbing the rock wall

Kendall climbed on the slide, then turned around & sat down!

Connor on the twisty slide!

Our picnic in the front yard! Kendall was trying to escape!
